I river guide; I am making that current because I want to be there again on the river of lessons learned.
I share this because post a river trip, I took my tip money, and thinking I was cleverly cute... put it in a garden pot that sat next to my bed...I laughed and said to myself.. I am going to grow money.
Three months later and a suspicious (are you ADHD) brain later... this lady needed it.
The entire house was torn apart as I exhausted my mental energy in search for this mad cash and walked myself to catch breezes for a break instead.
Merely three weeks after that I was going to be packing up my truck, properly named, Comet, to drive straight through to Alaska. This was *cough cough* COVID times so the Canadian border patrol, after 3 dogs interrogated the guts of my Baby C, gave me direct instruction that I had to be through their country in 72 hours.
All I heard was... challenge.
Driving through Canada with all windows rolled down, music blasting as loud as my earhole desired, grizzly bears for squirrels and Chinese fire-drills into curbside mountain lakes had me complete.
To no surprise... I made it through with time to spare.
So I make a u-turn into the maple syrup gas station to stock up before finding a home inside my own.
These past few weeks have been an internal cyclone as I am providing my home space to be seen, by me.
Damn, she has a lot to say and I can no longer place it on anyone or anything else. I am not hungover, I am not in a fight with my marital partner, I am not having to take care of the dog or go to the birthday party, watch the next episode… it is just me.
Money still isn’t growing on trees, nor pots.
Franklin’s face was merely covered in soil sweat when I had to remove the dead plant from its cast.
We have to find what works for us… and in this derives the drive of Meaning. In search of Meaning… What drives you? What wakes you up and makes your heart pump? What makes it get pumped up… not just beat, because by living in just the beat… you will end up doing just that to yourself.
Rather than comply I dare you to apply. Trust me when I say, I have complied and in learning more about my home, I will do my duty to apply in the ways that keep me pumping while moving the energy through to those I am meant to serve.
Money doesn’t grow on trees…
