Yes, you. You who is reading this correctly, are a mutant, a misread, an "oopsie daisy." Your mistaken self, is reading these words correctly from an origin that misread YOU.
Be offended at first, but then take a breath of fresh air.... get curious.
How nice is it that you can take a breath of fresh O2. Take another one... this time through the nose for a count of 1, 2, 3. Exhale. Ahh... aerobic respiration.
Guess what... that form (nose) and function (respiration) is a result of... you guessed it... A MISTAKE.
If it weren't for those mistakes...you would still be holding your breath as a single celled organism called bacteria. Granted you would also be living in the ocean (baller!) but that's about it. You would be the only living thing, next to millions of other non-breathing clones.
Mistakes are gorgeous; proof you are growing. It is because of the genetic misreads or mutations that we have evolved into the species we are today. We can thank
the oopsie daisies for: humpback whales, giraffes, caterpillars, moths, the hummingbird, earthworms, the star-nosed mole (google it right now).
But actually, how uncomfortable. Here you are all cozy next to your "they" family and all of a sudden - YOU - were able to breathe in oxygen. Do you tell anyone? You suddenly have more energy and are able to get off of the comfortable granule couch... um... ah.... you guys (clearly a midwestern in the making)... I ah...
You slowly start to rise... how unbelievably scary! Is there anyone else out there that has been mistaken?
Folks. This is YOU, you have risen and are rising. Your ancestral mistakes have gifted you your sense of smell, sight, taste, ability to hear, touch, and feel. If you are blind - what a unique gift; you are open to other wonders that nobody else will ever be able to see. If you cannot hear - I am going to bet that out of a room full of people, you are one of the few that is really here.
Was it a mistake to say yes when I wasn't ready... yes. Did I mess up when I took the left channel down the rapid versus right... haha, yes. Another mistake when I wore the tighter
jeans at my first high school sock hop.. omg, a "tear"able mistake. Did I make more mistakes by signing the contract, speaking too loudly, quitting, trying out for the dance team, interviewing again, returning, refuting, throwing my hands up in the air and saying ah to hell with it for today?
We are not going to get this right. You are making mistakes. You are messing up.
You are evolving beautiful one.
